In my rush between classes, homework, and still trying to have a life, I don’t have much time. What I do have, is a way-too-easy dollar menu at McDonald’s. Any suggestions on a quick healthy replacement? Both home-cooked and healthier cheap fast-food suggestions are welcome. Remember: I need FAST, CHEAP, & HEALTHY.

If you do go to McDonalds, get a side salad ($1) with light ital dressing (only 80 cals!) and a 4 piece chicken nuggets (180 cals) thats only $2 and pretty low cal. Its not the healthiest ever but its better than a doule cheeseburger.
If you want to cook at home buy 1 pack of chicken breast, a couple cans of tuna in water, some salad mix, eggs, apples/oranges are pretty cheap as well. This should feed one person for a week. You can have eggs for breakfast, salad with tuna for lunch, chicken and veggies for dinner. Apples/oranges for snacks. Bananas are cheap too. Good luck!♥
i know what you mean it can be hard being a student, being poor all the time and having little time, firstly don’t buy mcdonalds its the worst food in the world and in the time you have gone there and waited you could have made a nice healthy dinner. stir fry’s and quick and healthy
. to be far uni is alot of work but there is time to cook a kinda good meal and saying you don’t have the time is kinda a cop out alot of people use i don’t have time to cook but wait 20 odd minutes for fastfood.
Anyway this site is kinda good some recipes are abit :S . Jacket potaoes are good and can be very filling. pasta is great and it doesn’t take to long to cook either maybe if you ever have one of those days where you have nothing to do, you should make up a huge back of chilli and maybe like shepards pies and get those plastic takeaway stile containers to freeze them in then when your busy all you need to do is pull out a meal you want and microwave it.
