Cooking Utensil
After cooking meat in frying pan, do I need to wash the pan with soap before cooking vegetables? We all know to wash hands, work surfaces, and utensils after handling raw meat and poultry but does that apply to COOKING meat?

Yep bigtomz is right.
Its fine because you were cooking the meat, if it was raw meat then it wouldn’t be ok.
no if u cook the meat the pan will be hot enough to kill that stuff, plus then the veggies will get to soak in some meat juice for extra flavor:)
umm no. Clean it once ur done cooking though.
What? No – of course not. You can add vegetables to cooked meat without worrying about getting sick.
Good question. Give it a shot and let us know how that works out for ya, mmmmmkay?
wash the pan after each use
No. After you have cooked the meat, anything left in the pan would also be cooked.
No, the bacteria in the pan would have been killed during the cooking process. (That’s also why you can now eat the meat you just cooked right?)
I always cook stuff in the leftover meat juices. It makes it tastier.
no,you don’t put soap anywhere near food.the heat will kill the bacteria in the cooked meat
If you’ve thoroughly cooked the meat all bacteria will be killed. Keep pan hot while transferring meat/veggies and you’ll be fine!

Not if you’re cooking the veggies for the same meal as the meat. It may make the veggies taste better if they soak up some of the meat juices when they cook. Just drain out any extra grease from the meat first.
yes you would well at least i would, because there can be stuff left over from the meat and you wouldn’t want that in you vegetables would you ?
You can cook your veges in the same pan after cooking meat. I fry bacon sometimes and then add fresh green
beans and cook until tender – very good.
I would just so that you don’t get sick from the germs from the meet.
when cooking meat, all bacteria is killed, therefore, getting sick from it is extremely unlikey if not impossible. As an added bonus, when you cook vegtables on a pan that was used to cook meat, the wonderful flavors of the meat will seep into the veggies! So next time you cook meat, I SUGGEST you cook the veggies in the same pan, to get that out of the ordinary, unique taste that can’t be beat! *have you ever had or made stir fry?, well, they cook the raw meat and veggies at the same time and that is perfectly safe(as long as the meat gets cooked!)
You should wash off most fresh vegetables before you eat or cook them. This will clean the chemicals and other unsavory things that might happen to them during picking and transport to the store. That includes all the people that have touched the fruit, spit on it at some point; bugs that might have laid eggs on it. You just never know what has been on them.
I always rinse off chicken in cold running water before cooking it.
You cannot trust that ever piece you have cooking is going to get hot enough to burn off anything that might make you sick. Be safe, not sorry.
You don’t rinse off meets like steak, hamburger, etc. Most of that stuff is actually cut up and perpared at the grocery store. It’s then weighed and wrapped.
Well, if you don’t want the flavor of the meat on your veggies, yes. However, if your serving them with the meat, no, and I suggest while frying those veggies, deglaze the pan with a little wine and finish it with a little butter. Mmmmm!
good luck.
